John Henry Yoblonski, age 69 of New Milford, died on Thursday, February 24, at his home. He was the husband of the late Carol Theresa Yoblonski for 46 years. Mr. Yoblonski was born July 20, 1941 in New Milford, the youngest son of the late Joseph Raymond Yoblonski and the late Caroline Elvira (Campbell) Yoblonski. He was a resident of New Milford all of his life. He attended New Milford High School. He met and married his wife Carol Theresa (LeBrun) Yoblonski in 1962. He worked for a cabinet shop with his brother, then as a truck driver for Wetmore Feed Co., and he then later went on to work for E. Paul Kovacs Co. He was a proud member of The International Brotherhood of Teamsters Union Local 677 for more than 30 years until becoming a retiree in 2008. He had been an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved baseball and bird watching. In his younger years he rode motorcycles and bred champion hunting dogs, winning many trophies. He enjoyed telling stories of days gone by, but would also lend an ear. He was an active man that was a devoted friend to all who knew him. He was a hardworking, helpful, kind and generous man.
